Muncie Community Schools is denying information that former Superintendent Steve Baule received higher offers to buy two district buildings for more than the money paid for them by Ball State. The Star Press reports that Baule’s wrongful termination suit claims he was offered $900,000 for Mitchell Elementary, which was sold for $400,000, and $2.5 million for Northside High School which was sold for $1.7 million to BSU.
