A Christmas Day fire at a southside Muncie industrial site kept firefighters busy Tuesday. The call came in shortly after noon for a blaze at Erco LLC – formerly Eagle Battery – on South Hoyt Avenue. An investigation revealed that some batteries had overheated and ignited their wooden storage stands.
