Indiana state health officials are on alert after reporting the first flu-related death of the 2018-19 season. State health officials didn’t report where the victim lived, but said he or she was 65 years old or older. The death occurred five weeks earlier than the first death last year, when 336 Hoosiers reportedly died from flu-related symptoms.
