Former Madison County Auditor Jane Lyons has died. Investigators say her vehicle was hit head-on in a three-vehicle crash Friday in Brown County. The 53-year-old Lyons was returning from a training seminar in Nashville when the crash occurred. Lyons started working in the Auditor’s office in 1987 and was elected to the position in 2012.
