A developer who wants to build a Hilton hotel in northwest Muncie has been granted some variances to do so. The four story, 60 foot tall Home2 Suites by Hilton would have 100 rooms. The commercial corridor standards generally limit building heights to three stories and 45 feet but the variance to go higher was handled in a 5-0 vote.
