Muncie City Council Adopts Balanced 2019 Budget

At a special meeting Wednesday night, Muncie City Council made nearly three million dollars in reductions to the proposed 2019 city budget. Finance chair Nora Powell says they were able to adopt a balanced budget without cutting services or staff. Council voted to remove the 2% salary increases for both the City Council and, at his request, Mayor Tyler.
