Council Slashes Fund To House Inmates

At Tuesday’s meeting of the Delaware County Council, a funding request for $350,000 to cover the costs of housing county inmates in other jails, was slashed in half. The county has already spent $200,000 this year for inmates to bunk at other jails while the Delaware County Jail remains well over capacity.
