Muncie Murderer Is Denied Modified Sentence

A Muncie man who was convicted of murder in 1994 has been denied his request for a modified sentence. Adam Lee Houser was sentenced to 60 years in prison for the death of John Murphy. After serving 25 years he wrote a document asking the court to allow him to participate in a work-release program. The judge said the petitioner will never be a proper candidate for sentence modification.
