With $1.8 million dollars in the till, the Yorktown Public Library expansion is shovel ready. The library itself is providing $400,000 of the money and thte rest comes from bonds approved by town council members. The project will add 3,000 sqaure feet to the building and improvements like more computers and additional restrooms to the lone bathroom facility now. A conference room is also being enlarged and relocated.
