Over Budget, Behind Schedule: Madison County Government Center Project

The work being done to remove asbestos and remodel the Madison County Government Center is behind scheduled and over budget by at least $623,500. The hope had been to bring the project to completion by June 30th at a price tag of $3.5 million. Third and fourth floor offices are expected to be done by July 1st, but work on the first and second floor is a couple weeks behind schedule.
