MCS To Get Financial Assistance

The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County has pledged funding for Muncie Community Schools. The foundation will support MCS with up to 200-thousand-dollars over the next three years in a new program that gives teachers professional and classroom resources. Ball State President Geoffrey S. Mearns has said that the Ball Brothers Foundation and the George and Frances Ball Foundation will donate 1-million-dollars each to the district. More information on the Community Foundation’s program will be available later this year.
