Conviction Upheld For Summitville Man

The Indiana Court of Appeals upheld the conviction of a Summitville man on charges of altering the scene of death and obstruction of justice. James B. Helms found the body of Billy C. Emberton in October 2016 and wrapped him in a comforter before dumping his body in the woods. A jury found Helms guilty of altering the scene last August, but did not reach a verdict on the obstruction charge.
