A bank robbery was foiled by an off-duty Anderson Police Department detective working as security for Lampco Federal Credit Union. Two men came into the bank at 525 E. Hartman Road and the officer called for back up after seeing the men pull up the hoods of their sweatshirts. One of the men climbed over a counter and that’s when the arrest was made. Both Kenneth Ray Jones Jr. and William Strong Jr. were taken into custody.
