Trial Of Mom Charged In Fatal Crash Rescheduled

The trial of a mother charged in a vehicle crash that killed her daughter has been rescheduled. Last May, 28-year-old Jessica Marie Skeens van left the Muncie Bypass and rolled east of Meeker Avenue. Six-year-old Taelyn Ann Marie Woodson was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators allege Skeens was both intoxicated and under the influence of marijuana at the time. Skeens trial now is set for August 27.
