An off-duty Anderson Police Department detective working as security for Lampco Federal Credit Union arrested two men after foiling their attempt to rob the bank. The suspects Kenneth Ray Jones Jr. and William Michael Strong Jr were apprehended. Neither was armed. The two arrived in a Honda CRV, which was reported as stolen.
