There will be some big things going on at the Anderson Municipal Airport this summer. May 11 through 13, visitors to the airfield will have a chance to see one of the few remaining flight-worthy B-17 bombers that helped win World War II. For a small fee you can sit in the historic aircraft to learn more. For a larger fee, you can take a seat as a gunner, bombardier or navigator and go on an hour-long mission flight.
