A teenager from the Muncie area is telling her story of drug abuse and neglect in a Netflix TV series. 17-year-old Sarah Maxwell is featured in an episode of “Girls Incarcerated,” an eight-part series that documents a group of girls at the Madison Correctional Facility in southern Indiana. The Netflix show also features a Richmond teenager who turned herself in after her friend died in a car accident while she was driving.
