Madison County Commissioners have approved a bid date of May 1 for nine paving projects. The county is planning to repave nearly 22 miles of roads this year depending on state matching funds through the Community Crossroads program. $2 million dollars has been set aside for paving projects and another $1 million in being sought in matching state funds.
