We now know the name of the Eaton man that was shot in the leg Tuesday night. Officials say 22-year-old Shane A. Shumate – brandishing a handgun – refused to comply with commands from sheriff’s deputies and Eaton police. He is being treated for non-life-threatening wounds. Shumate will be arrested and charged when he is released from the hospital.
