The City of Muncie continues to move forward with the redevelopment of the downtown riverfront with the purchase of 15 parcels of land for $1.7 million. The properties — between Franklin Street and the White River near City Hall— were purchased from four owners. The 48-million-dollar plan is a pet project of Mayor Dennis Tyler.
