Madison County To Hire Disease Intervention Specialist

The Madison County Health Department has received state grants to hire a disease intervention specialist to combat a possible HIV outbreak in the county. The Herald Bulletin reports that the Indiana State Department of Health has awarded the county health department a $55,000 grant for the hiring of the specialist to find HIV cases and stop the spread before it gets out of control.
