Ball State University has been inducted into Muncie and Delaware County’s BY5 Network at the partner level thanks to the university’s engagement with the nonprofit. The school has provided student and staff volunteers and has had staff involvement on BY5 task forces and the BY5 Board of Directors, the Teachers College has synthesized and analyzed Kindergarten Readiness data for Delaware County and t he Office of Community Engagement has promoted the organization’s literacy efforts by developing literacy kits for preschool children and support Little Free Libraries.
