The Boys & Girls Club of Muncie raised $23,000 at its Great Futures luncheon, setting a record for the annual fundraiser. The day also marked the merger of staffs, governing boards, and mission of the Club and Roy C. Buley Center. Officials say the the merger allows them to serve more children, more often, for longer periods of time, and will allow expansion of services including some evening programs for young people.
