A longtime eastside Muncie traffic signal will be removed by state transportation officials. Muncie Street Superintendent Duke Campbell says INDOT will remove the signal at East Jackson Street and Ohio Avenue on or about Feb. 5. The city will erect stop signs on Ohio Avenue and traffic on East Jackson Street will no longer stop.
