A Madison County woman is dead after the car she was driving collided with a semi on SR 38 – just east of Markleville. 73-year-old Mylinh Humfleet went partially underneath the side of the trailer. She was rushed to St. Vincent’s in Anderson where she succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the semi, 36-year-old David Reeves, of Anderson, was uninjured. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
