The Star Press reports Muncie’s ordinance creating a fire department-based ambulance service has been amended. The change comes late in the process and allows for broader spending of revenue created by a potential new ambulance department. The amended ordinance was filed on Friday, in advance of Monday evening’s Muncie City Council meeting.
