A former employee of the court says her rights under the “Americans with Disabilities Act” have been violated. In the federal lawsuit, Melba Jackson was court reporter for Madison Circuit Court Division 3 when she says she suffered a health episode, filed for disability and was denied. After taking some time off, she came back to find that she had been demoted. She’s suing to get her position, salary, and seniority back.
