A man shot by police last week has died. Officers with the New Castle Police Department were called to a house in the 1000 block of Church Street Oct. 29, on a report of a man with a large knife chasing a woman in a yard. When the man stabbed the woman in the neck, the officer opened fire. 41-year-old Brandon Lee Flowers was hospitalized in Indianapolis, where he died on Tuesday.
