For the first time in nearly 10 years, firetrucks will soon roll out of downtown Muncie. City officials have accepted a bid to fix the floor of Fire Station 1 to allow for a fully operating fire station downtown again. Muncie Fire Chief Eddie Bell says he hope that everything will be in place by the New Year.
