A Muncie couple has admitted to stealing more than a million dollars in merchandise from online retail giant Amazon. Erin and Leah Finan have pleaded guilty to mail fraud and money laundering charges. The Finans purchased electronics items from Amazon using “hundreds of false online identities.” They would claim the items were damaged and demand replacements, which they were selling to a third party. Hearings in the case are set for November 9th.
