The Madison County Health Department will have its first new administrator in 42 years. Beginning Oct. 30, Stephenie Grimes, the current public health coordinator for the county, is being promoted to the lead the health department. The promotion comes after Steve Ford, who has served in the position since 1975, announced that he will resign October 27th.
