Today, students across Indiana have the chance to apply to 11 different state schools for free as part of College Application Day. Hoosier colleges are waiving application fees to encourage more to apply. The initiative started back in 2013 with the goal to increase the number of applications from first-generation and low-income students pursuing higher education.
