Garage Fire Also Damages Tree; Residence

Emergency crews were called to a garage fire on Muncie’s southeast side Tuesday after the blaze quickly spread from the detached garage to a large tree and eventually to the back of the nearby residence. Neighbors in the 1800 block of West 17th Street say they had reported the house for meth activity.
