Board Member Charged With Theft

Theft counts face a Monroe Central School Board member charged with embezzling funds from a group supporting the school corporation’s sports programs. 49 year old Michelle Phillips of the 400 block of North Plum Street in Farmland, was indicted earlier this month, after close to $4,000 was discovered missing from Bear Backers funds.
