Delaware Co. Cops Nab Man in Online Sex Sting

Police say a man from rural northern Indiana is behind bars after travelling to Muncie for what he thought was a paid sexual encounter with an underage girl he met on the Internet. 41-year old Anthony Ralph Kapp drove from Saint Joe, a small town northeast of Fort Wayne, for what he thought was going to be sex with a 15-year old girl. Instead, he fell right into the trap set by a Delaware County sheriff’s deputy. According to police, deputies had opened an account on an unnamed website posing as a teenage girl when he was contacted by Kapp. During an interview with deputies, he reportedly said he met with girls he encountered on the website about once a month.
