Anderson-Based Trucking Company Expanding Locally

Anderson-based ALA Trucking has broken ground on a new headquarters. A former lumber yard will now serve as a warehouse, truck service center and truck parts store. Currently, ALA employs 33 people in Anderson, and plans to add ten more jobs once the new facility is complete. In all, the company is investing nearly $1.5 million in the project, that’s being funded by loans through the US Small Business Administration. ALA’s new headquarters is expected to be up and running sometime in 2018.
