In his first memo on the topic, the head of the Administrator Assistance Emergency Management Team for Muncie Community Schools says the first order of busienss is to get a complete picture of the district’s financial status. Steve Wittenauer says the district is expected to fall about $18.5 million dollars short in 2017. He’s also pledging open and transparent communications.
