Two Horses Dead In Barn Fire

Some sad news near Alexandria after two of four horses died when the barn where they were stabled caught fire. When the first fire crews arrived at the 200 block of West County Road 600 North about 50 percent of the barn was engulfed. Neighboring fire departments shuttled in water to help in the attack. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
