Flood, Then Fire; Homeowner Can’t Catch A Break

First a flood, then a fire: Authorities believe a leaky gas generator is responsible for a fire that heavily damaged a home along Indiana 67. Pendleton Fire Chief Jeff Moore says the homeowner’s basement was flooding and he started a generator attached to a sump pump. That generator was apparently leaking fuel which ignited and caused extensive damage to the home.
