The city of Anderson is looking to hire four new firefighters by the end of the year. Cody Leever is president of Fire Fighters Local 12-62. He has asked the Board of Public Safety to look at hiring firefighters to eliminate mandatory overtime. Fire Chief Dave Cravens says the department is looking at manpower concerns but trying to be fiscally responsible.
