Officials at Yorktown High School are letting parents know about a scam that has apparently victimized some families already. They say leters are beiing sent out saying your child is being recognized for their academic achievement and they are now a member of the National Honor’s Society. It also comes with a fee of $75. The school says induction into NHS doesn’t require money but does require vetting and applications and letters of recommendation.
