A former telecommunications professor at Ball State University has been given the Merrill Greene Award for 2017 from the Muncie Rotary Club. Jim Needham has been in the club for 30 years and is an active volunteer. He also used to be the head man at WIPB-TV. The man for whom the award is named was a long-time Muncie Rotarian, volunteer and club treasurer for over two decades.
