Muncie Habitat For Humanity Gets Funds To Expand

Muncie Habitiat for Humanity receives $225,000 to help build new housing for an additional 70 families over the next three years. The money comes from Vectren Foundation and will help Habitat improve home repair services and their staffing capacity. Both groups worked to determine which at-risk area of Muncie would be the focus of their collective revitalization efforts. The work will focus on the 8 Twelve area of Muncie, which includes South Central and Thomas Park/Avondale neighborhoods.
