A public hearing tonight on a proposed solar project: The Elwood Community Schools Board of Trustees will conduct the hearing at 6 p.m. at the administration building in hopes of converting the district’s buildings to solar power by Dec. 31 to take advantage of a clause in a controversial law passed earlier this year.
