Police have arrested a 17-year-old in the attempted murder of a Kokomo man. 23-year-old Austin Mealer on May 27 was robbed of his cellphone and $300 by two suspects and shot in the head. He recovered. Armando Shields has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.
