A tanker truck and a pickup truck collided on Ind. 3 not far from Royerton Road Thursday morning. Police say it happened at about 9:15am. The pickup was headed northbound when the driver apparently reached for his cell phone and swerved into the path of the oncoming rig. The vehicles collided. The pickup driver and a female passenger were taken to the hosptial but no word on their conditions. The tanker driver was not hurt.
