United Way of Delaware County is announcing a fund raising goal of $1.25 million, when the Campaign kicks off in early September. Support from businesses and individuals will be needed to contribute to one of the major objectives of group – to have all 3rd grade children reading at grade level by 2024. United Way’s Reading Clubs held at 4 elementary schools are helping kids at risk of failing 3rd grade.
