As families celebrate Memorial Day and the unofficial start to summer, area pools are opening for business. The Herald Bulletin reports public pools in Alexandria, Pendleton and Mounds State Park are opening this weekend with other Madison County pools following close behind. All have different schedules in terms of hours and days, so check to see about when the pool nearest to you is open.
