OD Calls Rise In Delaware County

The numbers don’t lie; in the first three months of this year, there were more than 200 overdose calls dealt with by emergency services personnel in Delaware County. Authorities say those calls were based largely on heroin use and the overdose incidents accounted for five percent of the total number of calls for EMS in the first quarter. The total figure was 4,162. County records say there were a total of 729 overdose-related calls in all of last year.
