The notion of putting Muncie Community Schools under state oversight has been approved by the Indiana House. The vote taken was 64-30. While Muncie Democrat Sue Errington argued that area residents feel blind-sided by the situation, the Republican majority prevailed. There is an amendment from the House that the Senate will have to review before it goes to Gov. Eric Holcomb’s desk to be signed into law.
